Yes i have plans for Access Based on Title
since as far as i know most corp just use titles to give roles

with it being a new mod it doesnt have support for previous versions of SMF2
So Upgrade to Latest would be best
there is alot of changes including the format used in settings page in the latest version of SMF

yer ill add little pics for that at a later date
the image verification can be turned off if u set api required to register
as a valid api is needed to even make an account
as for character selection for real name
make sure the setting is on under settings
and for avatar the register part is on my todo list

this wasn't modified for SMF 2 i made this from scratch my self
the standings api requires your FULL api key
1.0.2 Released
this contains a bug fix for when you register and it picks a character name for real name
and I've added a note to setting page saying full required for standings
I've been working on version 1.1.0
which will have a big change to the ability to customize
you wont be limited to the simple rules built in
u can make rules with any corp / alliance
add skill requirements
blue and red is still available using standing
u can add multiple conditions to a rule
u can set main or addition rule were main is done by list order, and additional is a simple on if rule met
u can make as many rule/conditions as you want
you will be able to also put stuff like user is in alliance 844794 AND is not in corp 68204729
which would add all alliance member to the group as long as they arnt in that corp
Any questions or ideas on these changes just post
donations of isk or real money (see forum were you download) would be very much appreciated, and would be mentioned some were if wanted (i haven't decided were to put it yet)

1 is for Main Rules
this rules affect the main group you in, only 1 rule can be matched, and the highest up the list is the 1 you get
the other is for additional rules were order doesn't matter, it checks all and gives you all the groups u belong in based on them all

for Main Groups make sure u add the director rule 1st, as it checks in order, so u want it to check if director 1st before the normal corp check
i will be adding ability to reorder soon
for director you should be able to use the Role condition
so u make a rule with 2 conditions, role: director and corp: watever the corp ID is (yes u goto put id for now)
then u make another rule for just the condition of corpID
and do same as above useing the other Corp ID
it doesnt matter if u do both director then normal, or 1 corp then the other
just make sure director is above the same corp ID none director rule
ill look into the bugs now
on a extra Note: i just realise i havnt codes Support for OR conditions yet so will treat all conditions as AND

When i started making this mod i was running a website for a corp and alliance
but because of changes, that include me leaving that corp, altho i did continue to host for the corp that corp eventually disbanded

well i just updated SVN with my progress so far towards 1.1.1
this includes:
- Added Check that Character is Selected if Api is Entered during registration
- Added xml Cache
- Fixed a Bug with registration when charname has an apostrophe in it
- Added Option to Lock Avatars to Eve Characters Only
- Changed Cron file to use Relitive path from File to get SSI.php
- Added Ability to reorder Rules
- You can now pull Characters under Settings Page with out the need to save

Fixed those 2 bugs in SVN
the cache basically gets the xml API from CCP and stores it in the database with an expiration of 1 hour, this will help alot with repeat use of the same api
yes ill add a way to reset the avatar of all, prob do it for 1.1.2

ah so the error is same as u already reported, i have updated SVN
Delete old cache table before installing / running tables file
as for other errors they are low priority as they dont affect the working of the forum/mod
im nearly finished coding the ability to use corp / alliance name instead of id
altho id can still be used

also u should remember that making a rule with the condition director alone is not right as that simply means they have to be a director of ANY corp
so make sure u put the corp in that rule too as shown in the picture

Well normally all unmatched users just go into default group
but i serpose a work around would be simple a rule that all will match
i see you have invalid api already there
so u need a rule to get all valid api regardless of who
1 way is make this rule
Name: valid api
Rule ID: new
Main Group: {ticked}
Condition link: AND
Type: skill
Skill: Spaceship Command
Level: 1
that will match every 1 with a valid api :D
I added the idea of simply making a rule that matches every 1 to google site
i also added the issues to there
also on your picture i notices how you setup monitored groups and just wana make sure u know
you have Main - Administrator monitored, this WILL remove your Admin Access!! if you run cron
also you arnt monitoring convidado this main if a user is put in that group they wont be moved out even if they add a valid api thats in your corp etc after

fixed the deprecated problem in SVN
some people setup there database with character sets/collation usually for better multi languages
the byte per character is 3 for utf8_unicode
so i changed the combined total of both primary keys to 333 (100 for address and 233 for post)
if u changed to 100 for both its prob a good idea to change post to 233 as 100 is prob too short

sounds like might be an issue with javascript
but i duno what
i would have to look my self on ur site if u cant figure it out, as it works fine on mine
at what point does delete and edit fail
do u get the popup for delete? then page reloaded if u click ok?
for edit is it changing the form to edit mode or after submitting the edited fields

i checked your site and although there is a error message from javascript it doesn't break the code
i get the same on test site
i do think i found out why tho
i think Sources/TEA_xmlhttp.php is inaccessible from a user browser (javascript)
this is prob do to a setting with your sources folder / server settings
i will Place the file in a Dif location, check svn in about 15 mins

the files seem to be missing from ur forum
check they are there cuz i try to goto TEA.php and the TEA_xmlhttp.php locations and get 404 error
i tried a dif file in Sources and it loaded so not blocking access to the dir like i thought
so whats going on with ur forum i duno

You prob have Admin ticked at top of rules page
this basicly means it will check users in that group and change to the group is matched
altho the option is provided, most cases the Administrator Group is not ticked for monitoring

The Character Selection during Registration is used for Setting the Name and Avatar and nothing todo with rules
he would of got access because 1 character was in corp, regardless of which char he selected
the way you set-up after that, basicly has it check the account and if ANY of the characters arnt in the corp it matches to that group
because its a main group it then uses that and doesn't check any below

my guess is the users main group is set to not be monitored
these are set at the top of the rules page
usually used for stuff like Admin group so it doesnt remove it
basicly if unticked the group will not be removed
in case of main group it wont be changed

The current Downloads are not Beta's so not sure what you mean
as for rules and removal
if a user no longer meets a rule , eg isnt in the corp now
and the group is ticked at top (monitored and removed)
then it should remove the group

The undefined errors can be ignored
the error on 213 of TEAC.php is probably caused by invalid response from eve server, as it expects an XML and would error if not, this maybe you or maybe ccp, i plan to add checks to prevent code from trying to use invalid respose

Having a problem when registering new characters. When I set the rule for a group and click the checkbox "Main Group", when I register the new user for with the credentials that should trigger the rule, it does not work. If I leave the checkbox un-checked however, it does work.
Any idea on how to fix this?
Please check you have the no member box ticked at the top of rules page
if this isnt ticked the api mod will not move a user out of that group and therefore not change the main group

maybe its still too long, but would pref to know the error rather than 500, 500 is very general and basic just means error on server end and is like set to not give out error
try find your logs for apache or Whatever you use

Thanks to Temar for a great mod.
Just one question, is there anyway to enable permission so that other user groups (we have I-SEC, corp internal security) can view the API of users registered on the forums? Ive been trying all I can see, but nothing works, except giving the user full administration rights. I do see there are 2 permissions for this when viewing a users General Permissions; "Edit Eve Api Any API" and "View Eve Api Any API" but they are both struck out, regardless of what options I set. And I am unable to find anywhere to assign these 2 permissions when editing usergroups etc. It would be awesome if this could work.

No you dont need to be Director any Member Api will do as long as its FULL
i have now fixed the issue with setting page it was trying to save at wrong address, (default tea page, which is now info not settings)
also added missing txt line for sub menu

and also for those interested the full check for api's
now has a 25sec limit and auto cycle through list
Cron is advised to be set to run every minute
the manually admin section full check also does auto reload
however only displays the list of that cycle only

yer i realised the issue today
my removal of the description broke is the corp didnt have 1 and the field was probably closed like <description />
i now added a check to make sure it had a description before trying to remove

usually that means that there was a error trying to find the user
asuming u used online method, check the person is logged on ts and the name is the Same as shown before trying to register, its probably case sensitive too

if you have the group ticked at top of the page and when you run the cron TEA_TS_Cron_Access.php it should be removed from TS

Please Note that there is no Support for RC5 etc as I didnt see the point of keeping support for RC when smf 2 is officially released now
altho most of you will already have it, if your dev version is below 154 then you should update to latest release / dev

well the latest TEA (all 3 u posted are the same) it only support SMF 2.0 (GOLD)
RC3 is old
as for ESAM it was made for SMF 1
chances are the mod if conficting with another mod, as in another mod makes a change and breaks the installer for my mod
if no mod is install you forum is prob corrupt (changes to code that shouldnt be there)
which would be from failed installs/uninstall etc
an easy fix is to get the large upgrade from smf site, extract on top of current forum
this will basicly remove all modifications, and set all mods as uninstalled (if any set installed)
u can ofc delete upgrade.php (if your already at this verion) and not run it
after that it should install fine
